Find Me

God is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. Million dollar words for all powerful, all seeing and ubiquitous or everywhere. Though God can be anywhere at any time He still allows us free will. God still wants us to know Him more and seek Him by our own choice.

We live an a modern world where its not as a hard as it used to be to find anything. Nowadays if you're in search for something type it into a search engine and hundreds of thousands of results will populate. God on the other hand can just be googled. To get to know God it takes genuine sincere relationship.

If you truly want to find God you have to search. That`s right, just start looking. Have you ever played a game of Hide and Seek? The object of the game is for the seeker to find those who are hidden. The seeker does all they can to find who they are looking for. The definition of the word seek is to attempt to find something. The definition of the word find is to discover. To find God its going to take some action and work.

A great place to start is in your bible. Bibles now come in thousands of translations that make it much easier to understand.  Use your bible to see what it says about God. Soon you will realize that the word is God.

In your search for God you want to be surrounded with like minded people who will push you in your pursuit of Christ. Find and connect with a church that is bible based. Attend their bible studies and worship services. Listen to what the preacher says, because quite frankly how can we hear with out one? Take notes and study. Listen intently and apply the word of god to your life. Don`t just be a hearer of the word but also a doer!  Its also great to find people you can relate to such as other members who are new in their walk of faith.

The final thing we will leave you with is your heart. Yup, you read right your heart. Your heart must be in the right place to find Christ. It should first be a decision you make in your mind and then it will manifest to your heart. The word of God says, "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he". You will become your thoughts so think on the things of God with good intention. As you begin to seek Him you will realize that he sees our hearts and understands us better than we do ourselves.

Gods word says, "You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart" in Jeremiah 29:13. Dont be discouraged in your search! Be diligent and persevering. His word bold declares that when you seek God with all your heart you will find him!

Take a look at some scriptures below that will help strengthen you in your walk with God:
